Russian vlogger moved to BJMP

MANILA, Philippines — Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy has been transferred to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), the Bureau of Immigration announced yesterday.
BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said Zdorovetskiy was turned over to the BJMP on June 11.
Zdorovetskiy will remain in BJMP custody until his criminal cases are resolved, according to Viado.
In a document submitted to the BI, Zdorovetskiy said that he had no intention of evading deportation.
The Russian YouTuber said he would submit himself to BI custody should a deportation order be issued against him.
“Foreigners who abuse our hospitality and violate our laws must face the consequences. We will not allow our deportation process to be undermined by publicity tactics or legal maneuvering. No special treatment will be given to him,” Viado said.
Zdorovetskiy is facing charges of unjust vexation for harassing Filipinos and filming his antics for his YouTube channel.
